I graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor's in Arts majoring in Psychology. I then pursued a Master of Social Work from New York University graduating in 2005 and have been practicing psychotherapy both in a clinic setting and in private practice. When I first graduated from school I worked at Metropolitan Center for mental health located in Washington Heights and in the Upper West Side, where I worked primarily with Spanish speaking individuals, families and children. For the last six years I have been a mental health provider at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center where I have been the Social Work Intern Coordinator and Clinical Supervisor. In addition, I am in my 5th year of analytic training at Manhattan Institute for psychoanalysis

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and I specialize in gender identity and sexual orientation related issues as well as trauma, depression, substance abuse and HIV related issues.
