Individual Therapy
My therapeutic approach is dynamic and eclectic, drawing from various modalities to create a personalized and holistic experience for each client. Trained at the Manhattan Institute of Psychoanalysis from 2008-2013, I work with a deep understanding of the unconscious forces that shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I integrate trauma and somatic work, recognizing how the body 'keeps the score' of our experiences. I also specialize in working with issues around gender, sexuality, and kink, creating an affirming, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their identities and desires. More recently, I have expanded my practice to include the transformative potential of psychedelic and plant medicine integration, offering a space where the psychological, somatic, and spiritual can converge for deep healing and personal growth.
Couple’s Therapy: Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT)
In addition to my individual therapy work, I specialize in guiding couples through the transformative process of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). This evidence-based approach helps partners break negative cycles, communicate more effectively, and cultivate a deeper emotional bond. EFT focuses on understanding and reshaping the emotional responses that drive interactions, fostering a sense of safety and security within the relationship. Whether through in-person sessions or telehealth, I am committed to supporting couples in overcoming challenges, building trust, and experiencing a more fulfilling and intimate connection. My goal is to help partners not only navigate conflict but also rediscover and strengthen the love and connection that brought them together.
Pschedelic / Plant medicine integration
My approach to therapy includes supporting clients through the profound experiences of psychedelic and plant medicine journeys. Integration work is about making sense of these experiences and incorporating the insights gained into your daily life. Whether you’re preparing for a journey, processing a recent experience, or reflecting on past explorations, I offer a compassionate and grounded space to help you navigate these transformative moments. Together, we will explore the emotional, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of your experiences, fostering growth and healing on a deep level.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS is a gentle and powerful approach to therapy that helps you understand and heal the different “parts” of yourself. These parts may carry old wounds, fears, or protective roles that no longer serve you. In IFS, we work together to identify and listen to these parts with curiosity and compassion, so you can build a stronger connection to your core Self. Many clients find that IFS helps them release burdens from the past, feel more integrated, and experience greater freedom in how they respond to life’s challenges.
